Kenya crafts: Collage

Okay, the first crafts project! We'll start with something simple, quick and easy: a sign for The Whirl Girl's room to keep with all of her books and projects.


What You Need:

• a piece of cardstock
• a glue stick
• scissors
• print-outs of photos/maps (you can find some on our itinerary). I also used this fantastic fabric that one of my friends brought to us from Kenya itself. (A google images search for "Kenyan fabric" will bring you some photos that could be printed and cut out.)
  

First, cut out the pictures. Using her new safety scissors was the biggest highlight for The Whirl Girl...

...though it may not have been the most effective. (A torn paper project is in the works!).

Then, glue

and paste.

And you're done!
